Now back at uni, I've got less exciting photos to show. But at the start of the month I went home to England for a week, and I also visited my 16th and final German state, meaning I at least got some decent photos!
Half way through the year already. Crazy! In June, I went back home for a week to see family and also spend a few days in London with Tim and his mum. All in all, an absolutely boiling month, and I'm actually quite happy it's cooled down a little here in Frankfurt!
What an adventurous month March was! Well, by "adventurous" I mean "I flew to England twice". But hey, that's four whole flights for one month. The reasons I flew home were firstly at the start of the month for my mum's birthday (can't believe she's now 29!), and the second reason was my niece's Christening… Continue reading March 2017 in pictures
December is over and with that another year! After a delayed flight (i.e. two flight cancels and another 105-minute delay) I finally made it back to Germany a day later than planned on the 31st and got to spend my first New Year here. I also celebrated into my birthday at the start of the… Continue reading December 2016 in pictures
November saw me take part in Movember for the third time (Click here to check out my profile), and this time I spiced it up (or rather, spiced it down) by giving up meat for the month too. In March, I headed home for a week and spent a long and Spring-filled day in York. We also said bye to one of my closest British friends in Frankfurt as he moved back to Scotland. So the month was very mixed!
A little on the late side, but I'm going to power through January to April now in four separate posts. After looking through my photos from January... well, let's just say, it seems like a pretty boring month. Two of my weekends were work meetings, and generally I didn't take that many photos. So here… Continue reading January 2016 in pictures
What a rollercoaster month - quite literally at the end! Half of this month has been spent in England at home and half back in Frankfurt. Tomorrow I'll be heading back to Frankfurt to a weekend with highs of 37 degrees... ugh! Anyway, here's June 2015 in pictures. July is going to be an exciting… Continue reading June 2015 in pictures
So this one is delayed. 16 days delayed. But better late than never, right?
Two years ago for my year abroad blog, to spice things up a bit (i.e. to avoid the diary-like style), I wrote an alphabetical list about my Christmas and New Year at home. It made lots of fun, as a German may say, so I thought I'd do this again. But I've given myself the… Continue reading An Alphabet List of Christmas and New Year
